Admission Times, Facilities and Prices

Live Steam: Normal opening time for these events is 1pm till 5pm. Please watch the Events Page for updates.
Non-Steam Displays: Sundays 1pm-5pm, throughout the year, including Bank Holiday periods, but not Christmas Day or Boxing Day.Admission Charges as applicable for 2008 are shown below;-
Non-Steam Days: Adult £3.00, Child £2.00, OAP £2.50, Family £8
Live Steam Days (when available): Adult £3.50 Child £2.50 OAP £3.00 Family £10.00
A Family Ticket admits 2 adults and 2 children (under 16). Children under 5/babies in prams, etc are free.
On-Site Facilities and Access: Small snack bar serving teas, coffees (open subject to volunteer support). There is no cooked food available. However there are public houses in the vicinity that will provide good lunchtime meals
Free car parking in paddock adjoining the outdoor exhibits area. Picnic tables.
Dogs and Guide Dogs welcomed but please keep on leads due to moving machinery.
Visitors are asked to note that facilities are generally very limited; the site only has what is listed here. Please also remember that this is a working museum, with a lot of machinery in motion.
GROUP VISITS
Private openings, either static or in steam (when available), can be organised but is subject to volunteer availability. The standard price for a private steaming is £100.In the first instance please contact one of those named on the Contact page, with your details and proposed visiting period. It would be much appreciated if a minimum of 4 weeks' notice can be given, to ensure that volunteers are available to man the site.
Special rates for school groups can be negotiated.
