Nothing new about graffiti, of course, and Burrowbridge has it's own historic little message engraved onto the brickwork. This one says "Started pumping for King Sedgmoor 4/5/55". Underneath the notation is, "The last time engine worked July 15th 1955 for S.R.B inspection".
