About The Event
Westonzoyland Light Railways First Photocharter with Kerr Stuart 'Wren' 0-4-0 tank number 4256 Peter Pan, the first steam locomotive to be hosted on the Westonzoyland Light Railway and a unique opportunity to photograph this loco and the rest of the Museums collection at a small private event.
- Visiting Kerr Stuart 'Wren' 0-4-0, 4256 Peter Pan hauling a range of freight stock.
- Lister Railtruck 6299 of 1935.
- Lister Railtrucks 34758 of 1949 & 42319 of 1956 from Eclipse Peatworks hauling Peat Wagons in a true Somerset Levels setting.
- Motorail Simplex 40S from Minworth Sewage Treatment Works
We will also be steaming our Portable Robey Steam Engine in the main courtyard where trains will shunt timber trucks. Graham Morris & A Volunteers Historic Commercial Vehicles will be displayed alongside the line. Parking for this event will be in an adjacent field so no modern vehicles will be on…

Photocharter Event Ticket, also allows entry to the main Public Event on the 29th of August 10am - 4pm. Age limit of 14, any Child under 16 must be accompanied by a ticket paying adult.
